Sebastian Heindl is an independent management consultant and the founder of SH Business Partners. He brings 15+ years of experience in strategy consulting, industry and international business, including 9 years with Roland Berger in Germany and Japan.

He brings experience from more than 30+ consulting projects across industrial and consumer sectors-from market entry and product localization to performance improvement, supply-chain transformation, M&A and cross-border implementation.

Having lived and worked in Japan for more 10+ years and in China for 2 years, Sebastian combines European market and industry expertise with a deep understanding of Japanese business culture. He helps connect strategic priorities at headquarters with the realities of regional organizations, local markets and customers.

Depending on the project scope, SH Business Partners maintains a trusted network of senior experts and independent specialists. This provides clients with complementary functional, sector and regional expertise.

His academic background spans Japanese and Chinese studies, economics and business administration, with studies at Heidelberg University and Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. He holds an M.A. in Japanese and Chinese Studies from Heidelberg University, where his academic research focused on market entry strategies of Japanese companies in China.
